Background:
I am one of the few attorneys in this country who can honestly say, “I love what I do for a living!”
I earned my law degree in 1992, but I don’t feel “that old!” I feel like I am 39…I do a lot to stay active, keep my mind exercised, and work at staying healthy so that I can continue to serve and do what I love. I got into this area of law, inspired by my grandparents, who often opined that older people needed someone they could trust to help them with their finances, nursing home issues, their wills and trusts. From that point on, I focused our practice on estate planning counseling designed to truly help our clients deal with delicate family issues and dynamics.
I feel truly blessed to have a team of professionals who share my passion in counseling and educating families on the options available to them, and ways they can, through generous giving, enjoy a prosperous life and leave a lasting legacy. We serve our clients at every stage of life: from young adults, to young families, to families with special needs beneficiaries, to those bestowed with great wealth, to those who are losing their capacity, to the families who have lost loved ones. We offer not only estate planning, but probate (for those who failed to plan), trust administration, and fiduciary services where we serve as trustee.
I have the privilege to be asked to speak and educate on estate planning topics for corporations, private groups, churches, and non-profit groups to educate them on wills, trusts, how to answer the question “How Much is Enough?”, and creative estate planning techniques.
I am blessed with a wonderful husband, Chuck, and two amazing sons, Cory and Carsten. “Honoring God, serving my family, and serving the needs of my clients give me a life that is full and blessed!”
